It's Tuesday, April 8th--Wanna get involved in the show?

Let's see, we've got General Petraeus in town today along with Ambassador Crocker with an update on the Iraq War. The Olympic Torch relay is taken a beating? Should our president sit out the opening ceremonies. Joey Vento wins his "English Only" case for Geno's Steaks in Philly. Come on in and post up a storm. GS

Suddenly human rights issues in China are a concern?

Evidently it's ok to borrow money from them, trade with them, and purchase their products, but hey we're going to put our foot down when it comes to the Olympic Games.

I guess hosting a sporting event is over the line, and they've gone too far so we're going to teach 'em a lesson.

Gary,

It's great to be able to post Live during the show.

Careful with your statements about Mrs. Clinton - they don't sound very Main Streetish - even if I agree.

Now, if you'll just realize that the entire demonrat party is made of this same stuff and get over your love affair with Barry Obama, you'll be better off.

That's just common sense.

BTW, did you hear that the Dalai Lama says that he is a Marxist because it's the most moral system - as opposed to capitalism. I thought this guy had a problem with the marxist Chinese? I guess not. Now it seems that the only ones mad at the Chinese are western leftists who sense a chance to take to the streets to party/protest. The libs never cease to amaze . . .

I remember Dave Barry wrote about the Carter reaction to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan:

If a Martian were to view the American response he'd conclude that Afghanistan had been invaded by American wheat farmers, led by the olympic team.

Man, I haven't been to Geno's Steaks in ages. He's totally correct about provi being superior to whiz.

Now I'm hungry for a proper cheese steak. Sigh.
